Report

The weather for most of the day was wet but it cleared up in the evening in time for the match!
Once again Lesser Spotted Dogfish dominated although one small Ray was caught but it wasn't deemed big enough to warrent retaining for the weigh-in.
Fish recorder was Jazza.
Scalesman was Paul Downing.

Mike Grayson had a couple of "dogs" this one of 1 Lb. 10³/₄ozs.

The second one weighing 1 Lb. 8⁷/₈ozs.

Tony Gooch had 2 Dogfish this winner of 1 Lb. 12³/₈ozs.

Plus another weighing 1 Lb. 9⁷/₈ozs. for 3rd place

Just ³/₄of an ounce too small to get him points!!.

Graham Parson's Dog finally lies quietly on the scales.

Graham Parsons also caught a small dogfish of 1 Lb. 4⁷/₈ozs.

But it provided fantastic entertainment by refusing to lie quietly on the scales.
Finally landing up on the floor, Paul Downing took it outside and gave it a good talking to!!
There was much banging outside the room!!!!
"I wanted to put that back" said Graham.
"I was only banging the wall!!" said Paul smiling, on his return.
But the "old dog" had learned new tricks and lay very still this time.
