The
weather was a grey "Bank Holiday Day" it didn't rain all the time but there wasn't much sun about until it was too late! Never-the-less
quite a number of people weighed in with quite a few different species
of fish including a couple of really nice Bass caught by Chris Boon and
Ivor Dennis.
Z Z Ivor Dennis was very interested in how much his Bass weighed. (But I've no idea what it weighed ~ Neither Cathy or I are up to these new fangled Killygrams!)

Z Jazza's Dogfish goes on the scales.

Z Lisa Downing's Dogfish was only an once less than Jazza's but they both looked identical.

Z Young Josh Atkinson had a lovely looking Flounder.

Z Damien Babb's Green Bucket had both a small dogfish.....

Z ...and a really nice Wrasse which gave him 3rd place.
Z Z Josh's brother Cameron also had a lovely Flounder which won the Junior Section.

Z Kris Vanstone's Dogfish was enough to give him first place in the competition.

Z Trevor Fishleigh also weighed in a small Dogfish..

Z Richard Boon took second place with his Dogfish but he was only 18 grams ( 5/8 oz.) in it.

Z Chris Boon also caught a lovely Bass which weighed thousands of grams!!!

Z Josh Atkinson and his brother Cameron had 2 wonderful Flounders to earn them 1st and 2nd place in the Juniors.

Z Once again the Dogs took top awards ~ Kris Vanstone accepts first prize from Arthur.

Z Damien managed to prevent a complete monopoly by catching a fine Wrasse.

Z But the dogs were back again to give Kris another prize ~ 4th.

Z And Jazza, as always, was in there, earning himself a few more points as well as 5th prize.
