Lewis is 14 years of age and has a junior member of the club for a number of years.
He has been sea fishing, but only recently took up coarse fishing.
He was pleasure fishing, with his dad, at Melbury Lake, Bideford.
This incredibly is the very first carp that he has ever caught!
At 3:30pm, Lewis was ledgering with 2 x 10mm boilees "popped up", "Snowman" style, when he struck into this lovely Linear Mirror Carp.
It took him approximately 10 minutes from bite to fish in the net.
It weighed in at a just a touch over the magic 20 Lbs.
His beaming smile says it all ~ another lifelong carp fisher is born!
