Just
for once the weather was all we could hope for. There was hardly any
wind and sunshine after a crisp & frosty start. The fishery was
very picturesque and most of us
caught a good few fish. all-in-all it was a really good day!
ZZ Z Sunrise was really
spectacular and promised good things to come.
Z ZZ There was no wind
at all with just a faint mist rising off the water. Z
Mike Purchase settled himself into a nice little swim with the promise
of a great day. Z Z Willy
and Andy Gratton also settled themselves in with reflections on an
angling success. ZZ Z
The weigh-in came all to soon for most of us as we thought how we might
have played it! Z Z
John Lisle had arguably the best swim on the lake. But at least he
caught a few.
ZZZZ Z Z Thomas,
as always, got amongst them and finished with a very respectable net of
beautiful carp. ZZ Z ZZ Kevin
also had his fair share - Well he did come 2nd. Z
Steve had this lovely common of around 8 Lbs. which certainly made his
day.
ZZ Z Andy
had some nice fish in this superb bag to place him first.
ZZ Z Neilsen
was again in the first few with this nice net of fish giving him 3rd
place.
ZZ Z
Stuart
gave us all a chance by fishing the entire match with a patch over his
right eye but still managed to catch this 6 Lb common.
ZZ Z Martin Hawker's bag of fish ZZ Z Andy
had quite a few. Z Willy had the top weight of Silver
Fish and Crucians and..... ZZ Z Z ...... good few Carp as well, which
also made him almost smile!!! Z Z
